Christmas’08 was my first Christmas in our house. Whole family put for the holidays. 100” over the 10 days in the driveway. My dad was blown away

That layer was so cool, watching it creep up canyon. Got home and took the dog for a walk at 415 and it was sunny in the valley. Odd, odd layer.

Made a run over to Days yesterday and although short and sharky in spots, snow was quite good for the most part. Made 5 laps and found plenty of dragons lol.

The ski out Toledo altho crunchy was good and edge-able.

Still snowing (graupeling?) around 4 when I left the bird. I'd go up in the morning if I had it off. Found some deep and soft in Days this afternoon, the ski out of Toledo wasn't terrible but slightly funky snow + no viz was a tough combo. I don't think I hit any rocks today, nice change.

UDOT was reporting an accident at Butler which fubared everything. Snow was pretty good. Fairly high density which is perfect right now.

The wind + couple inches of higher density snow really buffed out Alta North. Surprisingly good creamy surfy skiing on the lower angle shots.

Basin skied great before I left town at noon yesterday. I always forget how fun that hill is.

A few inches of cream can improve things in a hurry!

Bit late to the party on this but happy new year to all of you Wasatch munchers, hope you all get fresh snow and good turns well into May...
Ms Boissal and I went on an afternoon Jan 1st stroll to look around, pleasant sights were seen, great turns were made (5 or 6 of them).

The White Pine trailhead seems to have tripled in popularity with sledders and hikers this year, it's getting to be as bad as Cardiff. It makes the WP exit more interesting as the trail is perfectly groomed from traffic and full of human pins to bowl through but it also means there's now trash EVERYWHERE and the shitter is already full. Nice things: we can't have them.
