can we please have a 9am resort opening and 10am road opening?
Last season's bluebird country club morning was legendary. I hope you up canyon folks get something like it again tomorrow. I took this photo at 10:53am after 4 or 5 of the fastest High T laps I'll ever experience. That snow wasn't deep blower, but it was damn near just as fun. Even from 350+ miles away my fingers are crossed tomorrow is even better.

10am seems widely optimistic. Udot plows didn’t get into the upper canyon today and haven’t been in the canyon at all since about 4pm. Can’t imagine they’ll get in until after lots of control work is done. So a crap load of plowing needs to be done besides avalanche control. If the upper end of the forecast comes through I could see it being closed all day tomorrow to.

Nothing like a huge storm cycle on my visit from CO to make me miss skiing around here (lived in PC for a year in the 18/19 season). Woke up early yesterday and figured 210 wouldn't open even before they announced it so went to snowbasin. Glad we did but dang that place has gotten busy even in the 2 years since we lived here. Once strawberry opened, the front side was empty though. Strawberry honestly seems pretty overrated to me anyway, I was more than happy doing middle bowl laps to the cirque and JP laps all day.

If anyone sees me skiing around with the wife at Powmow (yellow/tan jacket with black pants, wife is full head to toe flylow purple), ask for change for a nickel!

Can any historians recap the events surrounding the slide that hit the p-dog back in the day? Massive thanks to any and all snow safety professionals right now.

Any turns made by patrollers today in UT will be well earned.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

I have never been scared while doing A/C, focused and in the zone.

    The fear sets in later.

Stay safe and on top Redcoats.
