Gobblers has a bad reputation. Best of luck to all involved and to SAR.

Hope everyone is OK. Damn. Lots of N facing stuff in the resort appeared to natural overnight. And most bombs seemed to get something to move.

Fuck that breaks my heart to hear. Hope all is well, but that's pretty grim sounding. Scary place, for sure.

Ugh, so sad. Per fox13 the incident was reported at 3:30. Tragic that these are so predictable.

I can see that all of these canyons side country slides will lead to some changes in the off-season

2 caught and carried in Gobblers, the whole bowl went to the ground. Both skiers wound up on top at the bottom.

Glad to hear the gobblers slide didn’t turn out worse. Vibes to all involved in the square top slide

Walking to work today, was thinking it'll be a great day in the Wasatch if nobody dies.
    Have to downgrade to good.

Yeah, sounds like CPR unsuccessful, and due to the avy danger they (PCSP) with advice of UAC/sar advised to evac location to not risk more lives in the dark. All speculation by me but man, doesn’t sound good.

Deer Valley didn’t suck today, my skills are still lacking a bit but fun was had. Easy drive up 80, bit of traffic before the PC turn offs and then smooth sailing to Bambi Basin.
