Seems like there have been a lot of SLCO SAR calls in the past three weeks, especially for climbers.

    Hey O Guys!

Been loving seeing everyones stoke! Warmer temps are here!

Knees getting strong everyday, been able to start running and am pushing the conditioning. I honestly feel strong from a leg perspective than before the injury.

Getting back into climbing shape. Was able to send the Abyss (12d) over the weekend. So that was rad.

    Keep it up crew!

Concurred. Abyss is a nightmare of polished limestone with the crux at the tippy top, proud send.

was hoping for a top-down high boy lap last night, but I probably should've taken a closer look at the mountain before I started going up..

eagle's nest still in good shape, devil's castle getting a little sun cupped but not terrible. most of the high-t is pretty dry other than sunspot and stonecrusher.

KSL is reporting SAR being dispatched 10 of the last 12 days, that's insane. Take care of your self and your team mates.

Sounds like he ascended the east ridge and fell coming back down it.

Have the rest of these just not made the news? I had no idea there had been so much carnage lately.

He went up the south ridge, summited, started down the east ridge and went over the cliff at the top of the weather station.

Let's see, in the last 2 weeks: Climber in Fergy fell and ripped all his gear and landed on his head, climber in Hellgate fell which resulted in sever lower leg trauma, climber in BCC messed up his rappel and fell 70 feet, runner fell off the top of the Hounds tooth, and today the fatality on Superior. + a couple of tired/cold hikers.

Saw some runners starting up the South Ridge this morning in shorts with small trail running packs. I told them it was really windy/cold and the snow was firm and treacherous and I got a "Thanks bro"

    Sigh...
I got spooked last season on the descent running into firm snow. I ended up butt sliding into Cardiff and slogging across the snowy flats instead of insisting on sticking to the ridge. There are plenty of spots that are way too steep and exposed to be fucking around in running shoes with no pointy bits.

When you say weather station do you mean the one on top of Cardiff peak or is there another one I've never noticed along the ridge?
