    New in box, still has the plastic on it, thought I'd pair it with my airbag then decided that if I felt I needed both I should just drink bourbon at home rather than be in the backcountry that day.

    yessir. Thats why i have one. I dont wear it in the BC but on deep days inbounds i wear it. NARSID is "common" in PNW resort skiing and this is pretty cheap insurance.
