6 skied great. Some rocks showing on the traverse, but overall coverage is awesome for Nov 20. Hamburger deeeelivered.
Ripped around on the old loti, just a gas.

Was a family day, early season, got up late (~11:00) and got in almost 4 hours.

Lucky Shot is getting some rocks showing but the frontside is in great shape given the date.

Crustal was solidly in the rain shadow hole today with blue skies overhead and snow falling on the Three Way ridge and into Morse Creek and Crystal Lakes Basin. By 2:00, the storm had surged over Rainier and precip was increasing as we left at 3:00. Multiple freezing levels were apparent and likely the cause of the oddball crusts.

    I love to ski.
Thank you! I will quiver-select accordingly

Headed out to hit the same zone as last week. Rolled up on a wrecked car near the end of the road. Slowed down to see if they needed help...noticed a bullet hole through the window. Not pretty inside the car. No cell service, so drove back 20 miles to use a landline to call 911.

    Ended like this...

All good, not the first body I’ve seen. RIP, stranger. We have all sorts of theories as to what happened, but I haven’t heard anything official yet. Probably listened to too many murder mystery podcasts. Was hoping to post some stoke, recycled from last week ‘ll have to do. The better half...

    That is awful. I'm sorry.

Was going to describe conditions at Hyak this afternoon as awful, but I'll adjust my attitude and say they were just pretty bad. Raining in the lot. But any time I get to ski along side my supremely stoked dog is a good time.

Grim story, sorry you had to go through that.

Went to Crystal today. Was planning on turning up at 11am, but was basically stuck on that last stretch of the mountain road for a whole hour, in bumper to bumper traffic. Reminded me of the drives up to Crystal in January last year, but finally managed to snag a spot in F-lot at 11.45am. Pretty long lift lines, save for chair 6 which basically had no lines all afternoon!

Skied there the whole afternoon, great skiing with good pockets of powder from last night's snow. Lot of rocks showing on the ridge however.

Apologies for the anti-stoke. Didn’t mean for it to be that way, just thought I’d share the oddest journey to the skin track I’ve ever had.

Back to the regularly scheduled stoke, which the PNW and this thread has been serving up at a fantastic clip this season...

Predictable website crashing disaster on the SSQ season pass release. Maybe I should say fuck it and use the allocated funds for a pair of bodacious.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

Comments on the IG post are predictably dramatic... I'm surprised no one has invoked hitler, though someone is suggesting people will "kills themselves" because they missed out on a pass. I felt like a chump after buying the unlimited black pass in march this year because I only got two days on it before everything shut down... Feeling a little spoiled now.

Eh said fuck it and bought both. Somehow slipped into the purchase system, hopefully they honor it, got a bar code and receipt for the pass so I guess it’s legit?

Did you get a look at snow lake? Wondering if it's frozen over yet.
