I don’t think greenwater would still be there let alone the base area of 80” of snowpack disappeared in 24hrs.
Or there were a lot of dump trucks out there last night.

Spring touring on the Cascade Volcanoes is a unique and wonderful subset of skiing. It's what I miss most about leaving the PNW. Nicely done.

Not bad. Those top sheets seem to be in good shape which is rare for those older Moments. Mine are trashed. Great ski!

Been mulling a trip over this way. Any chance things could be in a corn cycle up high this week for the nice midweek weather? Or is the new snow gonna take a few days to get there?

Crustal closer was skanky, janky and manky. Neither Northway nor 6 opened. But Groin Valley and the Frontside offered some goods. Iceberg was a ruse: groomed until the lip, then big,. tough bumps.
Everything from fast raincorn to gluey schmoo that tried to suck your boots off.
Groimers were the ticket, but some of the cut up glop from yesterday skied OK. Some was chunktastic.
What a year, what a February, 5 months+ of lift served. Now on to the passes and glaciers.
