ml242, is the venue Ovation or Blockbuster? I would strongly recommend Blockbuster as I think Lazlo would be very much open to a "Hot Dog" themed party at the finish line, as long as it was family friendly enough.

This is the worst scene of the episode but when I first saw it I was impressed with all the nuances they got vs most mainstream ski movies/ scenes.
The fact that they used the Tanner Hall broken ankles for the final scene was impressive.
Although the deadbeat old ski bums play right into benny’s narrative lol

Well, it might have just been a dozen or so Québécois, but we smoked 'em anyway, while demoing touring skis with the DIN set too low no less. I won a G3 trucker cap as a prize. Or maybe the rep was just giving them away to everyone. It's hard to say because we'd all been drinking beer. But I'm sure that we finished 1-2.

I actually saw Hot Dog in the theater while in high school. I wasn't even a skier at the time (I xc skied some because that's what my family did).

I was in college and took a fresh out of high school mormon girl to see it. Didn't have wheels, had to borrow my friends boat of mercury cougar which the passenger door didn't open and window stuck partway down. Back at her tiny apartment after the movie had a gas explosion from burritos in the bathroom about 10 feet from the couch she was sitting on. So embarrassed I left right after to go get smashed with my buddies. Such a perfect ending to the day I saw that movie.

Oh right, SLC. You guys are fast at going uphill round there. It's busy and competitive. I'm super slow and lazy to be honest. I have good longevity though for touring I just don't like to blow it on a single climb or get too sweaty.

Guys, there is a pandemic going on. You really want to risk a broken hip or two at your ages with a ski-off? Who is to say there is a bed available for you in the hospital? Think of your great-great-great grandchildren before you step into those bindings, please, as one weird rollover you don't see, thanks to a flat light day, and you may never see any more rollovers and certainly not those grandchildren again.

Do you still worry what you’re helicopter parents think about you doing something that requires risk? Do you need a safe zone are you able to think for yourself. I may get to Killington occasionally during a season but I'm pretty much surrounded by hot NJ babes all week so there's really no reason to go there regularly.
