This isn't the first time I have read this, and it surely won't be the last. But why does putting someone on ignore mean you are "weak"? If someone is consistently annoying or just gets under your skin, why is it some sign of strength to leave their posts visible to ignore the old fashioned way? I've done it both ways, as TTips never had an ignore feature, and there was nothing about seeing someone's posts over there -- while not seeing the same person's posts here -- that made me stronger. I exercised self-control over there and ignored the posts, but it sure was easier over here where I never even saw them.

I really wonder why you think ignoring posts through forum software makes you weak versus ignoring them in a more old-fashioned way.

Disagree man. I really don't see what the big deal is, I don't give a shit what some people have to say. Why should I have to scroll through their posts. I don't think I'm weak, I figure I don't care what some non-skiing uber far-right wing gas bag has to say, especially if they are just here to:
- Raise shit
- get attention
- further their idiotic conspiracy bullshit
- say mean things about my skiing

OK the last one is a joke. Anyway, I am given a choice to see someone's posts or not. I choose not to see some peoples posts. Makes me a weaker person? Don't see why.

No way I’m putting Benny on Ignore. He’s got a different POV and is amusing most of the time. Plus he has occasionally commented on my Blog Posts in the past, which I really appreciate. Nothing worse then putting something up and getting no reaction for twelve hours. Plus, I don’t know how to create an Ignore List.
