Where to ride in Fruita with snow on the ground?

So I've finally scheduled I trip to Fruita for 5 days of mountain biking. Damn my luck, it's supposed to snow smack dab in the middle of that trip. I understand that some rides there can be muck when wet. Are there any preferred rides in the area when trails are wet/snow covered?

Not 18 road unless you want gumbo covering your wheels. Bentonite out there dries out pretty quick though. The lunch loops are plenty rocky as is most of the trails down by the river. Loma/Mack/Rabbit Valley/Mary's/Horsethief, etc.

Had this happen on a trip a few years ago. We were able to get in one ride in Fruita before the rain/snow, then went to Moab for a few days. Some rides there are good after rain. We came back later in the week once the trails in Fruita/GJ had a few days to dry out. If it snows and remains cold enough the snow doesn't melt you may be able to get a morning ride in with the snow. But that could be very hit or miss.

Looks like Moab has the same forecast. Damn my luck.

There will be rides in Moab you can do very soon after rain. Local shops can help with that. Slickrock obviously. Poison Spider, Moab Rim. They also sent us to Navajo Rocks. But I think parts of other trails nearby including Mag 7 have clay.

If you like techy rock riding check out 5 miles of Hell. It's a moto trail, but it's almost all rock and what isn't rock, is sand.
