    Binding Delta discussion

At the risk of being banned as an epicski geek, I propose moving the Atk shimming discussion to its own place.

I think it's an important enough subject to have its own thread.

    Talk amongst yourselves.

I mean "binding data discussion" could be an entire subforum. Maybe a more descriptive title?

Let's make it only about basic 3 pin tele bindings with no heel retention cable. That will keep it simple.

    otherwise, what snowaddict said

Rottefella Freedom has a curved ramp angle. That's all I got.

I shim everything. I have home made plastic, 3D printed carbon and the website I’m blanking that does the expensive ones. All work the same.

I fall down if delta isn’t flat. Skiing iz hardd

Many pages of related discussion here: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...its-ramp-angle

Coles notes are it isn’t an issue for people who it isn’t an issue for and it is for those who it is. There are also lots of people who don’t realize it’s an issue, but probably would if they skied a proper alpine binding.
I personally think pin delta above about 10 mm sucks and makes it very difficult to engage the front half of the ski in a balanced way. Lots of others obviously agree, so a worthy discussion for many.
