MSS is spinning the lifts today for passholders only. I wonder if DanMelon is up there zooming the groomer.... general opening tomorrow.

    nice!
no franken-set-up for me but i do have a spanking brand new pair of mercuries that felt *so* light when they arrived i feared i'd only purchased a single boot

the beast14s i bought two seasons back (only to learn my factors were not compatible) have finally been unboxed.
as for fit, i scored 42 bike rides on my heavy GT this longest of off-seasons and am raring for some uphill travel like never before.

the obvious bonus in the red map NE will be a winter of in-state dumpage on par with 17/18 when plattekill was more often than not in the big storm bullseye...but at this point, winter will have me with skis- on-snow, having last skied patches nearly 6mos ago.

    like VT-free says : LEMONADE.

Not today bro. Did you check the report? Hazard is considerable to extreme. Travel between inter regional terrain not recommended. I’m just gonna let it settle until she goes down to yellow or green. KBYG bro. 🤙🏼

Shit, we're really gonna have to drop the hammer soon. Fucking Jersey Joeys and the Canuckistanian Creepers have not relented on their invasion.

6" of snow on the ground and you idiots are arguing over sandwich names, boating and rock climbing. GTFO. It's going to be a long and bumpy road, but we're going to reclaim the ECRC by President's Day Weekend. You heard it here first.

That “debatable” zone runs from Rte 78 in the north to 195 in the south.

Nice effort to those taking in the 6”, but that really is more of a sandwich size than a pow day.

Today was a beaut for views.

Well looks like I'm gonna be moving to this neck of the woods this season as the wife is accepting a job in St Albans tomorrow.. I'm probably gonna bug the hell out of everyone asking for rec's on the area.. like anyone know of any rentals? Jobs for me? If I need 120 underfoot or not?

Praxis RX is the best choice.
Might be a couple of rentals left in Newark, act quick as they're going fast.
Jay needs lifties, ask for $14 an hour.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Roll w/ something ~95 under foot that performs well on firm and ~110 for when things soften up. I realize that was likely a joke but a true pow ski is overkill for our terrain and snowpack (northern VT). I have a shit ton of skis and haven’t found the need for my >108 boards for a couple seasons now. YMMV.

Didn't want my 18 y.o. to go it alone, so I tagged along.

For some reason we had the place to ourselves.
