Hope you had a good time on the Greatest Mountain. Was thinking of you and the weather this week. Channeled my inner beaver and thwacked in a new traverse at Saddleback over across Casablanca to Muleskinner. No more slog... glide, baby, glide. Yes, I am lazy.

Thanks. I thought it was Magic and have been meaning to get there, but have never been. It's hard to shell out money for a ticket when you've got an Ikon so we usually hit Stratton on getaway days. I will get there one of these days.

Didn’t have anymore good p-tex ribbon in the stash, so I went with G-flex epoxy with some ballpoint pen ink as pigment. It’s sealed up at least.

That pic has me wondering how the $250 sponsor-a-chair galvanizing is going over at the nearby mountain. Maybe just cover the chairs in stickers instead?

The part about digging pits vs. weather / weather events so true to my experience on MTW. That sounds like a hell of an avy.

Yes I cut away, beveled, and structured all the edges of the base material. I left the epoxy a bit shallow to be able to p-tex over if I decide to at seasons end. Probably gonna take some more hits so just epoxy foundation for now.

    I'm looking at this
my $.02: cut it back, roughen up the core, clean up any debris. overfill the gouge with gorilla epoxy; let it set overnight near a heat source. sand it flat with base. structure and wax. as i've mentioned several times, these gorilla epoxy repairs have stayed strong upwards of 100 days.

I’m glad all of these people were willing to wait in that line for the bubble. It helps to keep the other lines under 5 mins, if not ski on...
