For a holiday weekend Killington hasn't been THAT bad, staying on the chairs near the top usually will keep you out of lift linesName: 20210117_132736.jpeg

nice man, love that section, so cruisy. always worth riding it right to the very bottom

i've never seen so many people on mont royal. multiple ambulances at the toboggan hill

tons of snowmen and snow structures, perfect snow for it. saw this igloo with some fat clouds pouring out.. memories of Mines

    Stoked for everyone getting some

The mountain looks empty there and yeah, you can avoid lift lines if you know where to go. Even on a Holiday weekend powder day, what do I know. Somebody is eating crow now

Stratton was some kinda of a hot mess. I took one run off the lift to mid mtn & then hiked to the summit a couple times. When I got up top, there were 4’ drifts & whales, nothing groomed or ready. Was western ish....

In fact when ursa finally opened, patrol was discouraging certain ppl in line from going up by saying “unless you are skilled w extreme weather & terrain, go down now...”

Bodies all over after the opened the top.

I mean Stratton is worthless with out the upper mtn running. I don’t care how many people they can move out of the base. I had a feeling it was going to be brutal. The old man said bromley was just as bad. This morning should be killer though.

Teh fazebook crowd was whining bitterly about the 12-15 minute lines at Magique yesterday. "When is the quad gonna open? Wah!" And every one of those motherfuckers was falling on the Chute.

Today should be fun. Most of the dentists had to go back to work today.

Heck yeah. I love my Charger BCs. The first 1000’ of climbing yesterday was done with just the scales before I had to put in skins.

^^^ MNIAW: haha. if you're complaining about 10-15min. liftlines to ski chute on a deep day you may not have actually *skied* chute.

    wow fantastic stoke abounds.

it is strangely good to be bummed i can't be in VT now.
glad to see cold temps and snow showers through the week.
this could be where winter really begins [/unjinx]

Definitely a quiver ski and there are instances when you don’t want them but I have zero reservations taking them out in powder. The V6s are so fun in the deep stuff.

I skied chargers exclusively for about 5 years, just got a pair of harvest skis w/scaled bottom. Just as much grip & glide but a little damper.
