Even soft enough for some old-man park laps. In case it needs to be repeated....skiing is fun.

Ridiculously great after school power hour with the progeny. Easily 4-5” down by last chair and was still snowing as we rolled out of the lot. Mid-week sneaky pow is the shit!

17º and calm under snowy skies bob. Light snow currently falling to add to the 5" of fluffy flakes the fell over the last 30 hours. Get it before the weekend hoardes' arrive, nothing available this weekend on airbnb in the valley, tour?

I had a Rottefella RT8 binding, new in the box, 5 years old, that I knew I would never use. (I'm now all in on NTN.)

I've never met Brian, until today. He's a raft guide on the Hudson so we have a lot of friends in common. He needed RT8 parts, and I don't think they make it anymore. I offered to fedex, but he suggested a face-to-face handoff in a snowy spot in the far east, of NY.

That was a good move, great day, soft snow. Nice to have a guide, in a new to you place.

Great shots as usual VTF and Boreas.

Another fantastic sunny day poking around with Doremite and non mag T. Didn't stop for many pics but got this fine stick stoke of Doremite which would have been much better if he had followed the intended line instead of snaking a better one out of sight !

It's been a hell of a February so far and everywhere we went today was bottomless. Riding with skiers is also fun.

Carriage roads in Acadia are in for nordic skiing and conditions are fantastic. One of the nicest nordic “ski areas” in the east when it’s in with great terrain and views. Conditions look to be stable or even improving for the next week or two. Pretty nice to have 5 miles from our front door for a lunchtime ski with the Mrs...

^^Nice, real snow tires Joey. Put my lame flatlander ass tires to shame.

A few more shots from my trip into Eastern NY, my first shot at uphill since the vid. Was pretty happy with my wind.

Ouch! Not me, truth be told I was taken out a similar tree twice this year, and I’ve hugged more than a few trees this season.
