Those were called Wydaho nachos at Targhee but with waffle fries instead of tots. Good stuff.

Did you get that idea from the bar in Bristol VT? They’ve had those on the menu for at least two years.

Cornerstone has a catering truck that has been doing these for years. At Siptemberfest and the Buffalo Chicken is my fave.

Pretty sure SeaDog in Topsham did this in the early aughts, but they added bacon and it didn’t look like the chef sat on them. I’m sure if you tossed it all in a blender, added a cream base, tossed it in some styrofoam , and had a half open bag of oyster crackers you’d give the soup skiers boners.

Add a slab of fried polenta and a couple of fried eggs and you have Zephyr’s Breakfast from the original Morning Glory in Bar Harbor from the early 90’s. Made with home fried potatoes, we always called it Huevos Rancheros and is a great meal... Especially when/after drinking. The tots are a downgrade that somehow elevate it to next level. Less is more zen shit there TC!

The skiing at Sunday River today was pretty good. Mostly decent depth on the open stuff, with a few of the not-unusual thin spots showing chocolate chips. Upper-mountain stuff was firm this morning but pretty springlike later in the day.

There seemed to be a little bit of learning curve for the lift-ops crew, adjusting to the new line layouts and not trying to fill chairs, but by 10:30 or so, they seemed to have things pretty well dialed in. Most people seemed to be masked in line, and of those that weren't, it seemed to be more forgetfulness or not realizing that a face covering had slipped off the nose than complete disregard. It did seem pretty weird to be riding single with a line and not be trying to fill chairs; I did get paired up with other singles a few times on the quad, but I was asked first each time and didn't feel any pressure to say yes.

When I posted the pic a wee bit, when the pic was taken not at all. That was a couple football sundays ago.

I don’t recommend basing your diet around that dish but it’s some good snackin’

True dat... as I just discovered with a short notice abdominal surgery at Mass General for Thanksgiving. Getting discharged today and pretty limited activity for a few weeks and probable follow up surgery in 3 months.

I guess if there is a ski season to be limited in, this one might not be too bad as it isn’t shaping up so great anyway. Fuck 2020. And eat more healthy high fiber!

Most likely late night eating like a chucklehead college student well into my 40’s and a family history of diverticulosis. Hopefully caught in time and will be good to go eventually with a better food management.

As I was going under anesthesia the tech asked if I was feeling alright... I told him I was starting to hear Jerry. The young tech looked confused but then I heard the surgeon say “he’s fine... turn it up!” Out like a light!

Lightly grilled sourdough with home made bacon jam and AMERICAN cheese. A delight.

Heeling vibes, singlecross. Emergency anything medical is no bueno.

We climbed up to 3100’ on Mount Hunger today to find some snow. The snowy/icy rock had us turn around before the summit, though.

damn! heal up singlecross and yes, stop eating like a post-teen!
get yourself on a healthy, restorative diet and your body will begin to heal.
my body rebelled against that sort of eating decades back...i got into carrot juice and a healthy diet and never looked back.
