pretty good day today but hit a rock hard (knocked me off my feet), leaving a mark on my base like i've never seen.
the anticipated, marbled repair should look cool.

pics to follow (large patch there has 60days on it without any intervention)

Skinned a few laps of smooth wind buffed pow at Shawmanee yesterday. Wind was hammering and snow coming down the whole time. Not as deep as expected first thing in the am but sooo smooth.

You guys used to do much better posting photos having the proper amount of tip sticking above the snow back in the days of pink bases. You're all getting sloppy now.

Got a couple runs in at lunch at Jay. They picked up a decent amount (~8 inches) of denser snow overnight but this mist is forming a weird layer. It was surfy but will probably turn into a breakable crust when temps drop

Mixed it up today and rode lifts at Bolton. Found endless lines through the trees while it snowed all day. Skiing is gooooood right now.

Bolton tree skiing is highly underrated in my opinion. The kid and I have had two great days there in the snow.

I’ve skied at Lab since I was a kid. Today might have been the best snow I’ve skied there. Foot and a half of nor’easter snow Tuesday and a wraparound foot and a half of lake effect today. Pic is from Tuesday Click image for larger version.

Apparently monoskiing makes you want to jab your eyes out with the blunt end of your poles. Note the DIN infinity bindings... badass!

Another 3-4” of high density overnight at da’Loaf. So creamy that I was singing this all day in my head...

    Suzy Creamcheese, Oh, mama, now
    What's got into ya?
Suzy you were such a sweetie
    Yeah, yeah, yeah
Once you were my one and only

I rode the lift with that chook today. Fukin right badass. Told a few good stories. He has mono-skied all over the world. About the bindings, because I asked..He said you DO NOT want to ever release from Le mono!! Bad things happen.
