Check out Pudding Hill. Darling Hill sold out but Pudding Hill is better.

    these pics demand a bump!
    way to pivot!

talking about crowds, local hill was getting long enough lines on my saturday nights. for some reason they are now upping their ticket capacity by around 400%

sensing a pivot of my own...

Will miss you then. Getting ready for a Baxter trip. Having a hard time nailing down where and how much sleet will fall tomorrow, may end up at Saddleback.

Base elevation is always your friend when betting with NE weather... until the wind kicks in the next day then it's a bitch. Which we know all too well. Skinning up Saddleback fits nicely into that pattern somewhere.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Backing off on the snow totals as sleety mix is supposed to move in for a while. The nek cant catch a break for a decent deep powder day this year.

They put us to 3-5 in Danby with some freezing rain now.... at least it’s gonna harden the snow pack, something colder is brewing on Thursday

What kind of beta you looking for? mask use? cabin rental? how often the hay wagons circle through the car lodge lots? day ticket? trailside beer stash?

The new snow is needed as last weeks fairy dust has been hammered/blown away some cush is needed. But I am fairly fussy after being in a great run of snowfall.
Looking forward to tour mode over the next couple of weeks with the moderation in temps.

20º and sleeting bob w/ 3 7/8" snow topped with sleet. Woke to the sound of sleet peckering my bedroom window at 5:01. Get Some!

    This is a bummer, vibes.

STOWE, Vt. - A skier died at the Stowe Mountain Resort on Monday after hitting a tree.
Ski patrol started care of the injured skier and got the person off the hill to Stowe EMS, which responded to the scene.
The skier was pronounced dead at the resort.
Police have not yet revealed the person’s identity.

I’ll tell you what.... the line of traffic headed south last night on rt7 from rutvegas makes me wonder how many people are left here in Vt for the rest of the week. Looked just like a Sunday afternoon.
