Yeah, we're getting shadowed at Magic. Maybe a couple of inches max. Bromley is the spot today but I'm not paying $85. Midweek pass there next year tho.

.......and more snow fell last night. Hasn't really stopped since Sunday. Might need to skin a Bolton tree lap before dark.

Edit: Just saw on Reddit that a hiker's been missing since yesterday possibly in the Peru/Dorset or Breadloaf area. The dude never told his gf where he was going, his Corolla is probably at a trail head around there.

Glad the person is fine, Peru/ Dorset —-> Breadloaf, that is a serious spread. I’ll frequently make on the fly changes but it’s the same basic mountain area or valley. Can’t say I’ve ever said I’m going to Mansfield but end up on Killington.

Depending on the night it can be great, crowd-wise. Last Tues I skied for 3 hrs and only shared a chair 2x. Skied right up to the chair almost every run.

Yeah the Sun Mountian has been the snow mountain this week with upslope and lake enhanced. The groomers had 3-4” lower mountain, 4-5” up top. Trials not groomed had 6” to boot high (some trees shin) from snow this week remaining in many places undisturbed.
Hit magic for some runs this afternoon and when I came back there was another 2”. Over the past week 30” easy.

It just wants to snow, and I hope it continues.

Started the day on noctas. Finished with a skin on ferox’s at 430 for some killer untouched at the sun mtn. It’s unreal how good the skiing is right now at bromley. Best in 20 years. Maybe longer.
