    Love this picture, and the mood captured in it.

    I can see why you mentioned this place when we were skiing at the 'bowl here. Looks like a cool corner of the world to make some turns.

    Hope the snow finds you guys soon enough.

    @cat

    Was just reading the dog policy on BM website, says not allowed on downhill trails. I assume that includes the glades on days when lifts aren't spinning?

    Just checked website and that’s a new policy. Unfortunately some folks working for the mountain don’t have the best pr skills so could be a hassle. On the other hand if you go early and keep to the glades, they won’t know you are there

    Looks awesome, thanks for posting and working on it. How much work has been done this year? Do people do a shuttle type thing and leave a car at Black and drive to White Cap trailhead? Whats the deal there?

    This is exactly why you don't post shit on a public forum.

    GBA did work on Rumford Whitecap on the East side, I think a new glade. Put in a new glade down the back of black on MLT land. We have put in 3 new glades on Black and made improvements to a half dozen others.

    You can do an end to end, but supposed to have a ticket to be on Black Mountain of Maine property. There’s a parking lot on East Andover road to access the MLT parcel. Easiest just to go to granite backcountry site for details. I don’t think this years work has been added in. I am not part of gba so not good on their specifics

    Jack straw, gba blasts all their information so nothing secret there

    Six months ago we should of shut the borders to VT, NH and ME and told everyone to fuck off. But now here we are. Sounds like it’s time for an orgy.

    I was always able to find replacements, but they always popped again. I guess smashing kmart bumps with them wasn't what they were designed for.

    Beavers build their glades so fine, no snow needed at Black Mountain of Maine

    Funny watching gba pretending on our glades.

    For anyone in SoVT thinking of heading out, at 2,300' at Bromley there is 4" of wet dense snow.

    Benny is pretty hardcore if he is the first guy since that dude holds the record for uphill in a single year.

    Makes sense, seems like Benny would use dentist powder skis as early season rock skis, being that he is not a loser bum like the rest of us.

    Nice stoke!

    I found that thread completely useless Talking about Super 7's and XXL's.. would be overkill for an east coast tree/bump and occasional powder ski.
