It sounds like it was their decision to close a week early for the greater good.

Hopefully if berta goes into deeper restrictions its similar to Christmas where outdoor rec is allowed to continue, they clearly got the case loads to drop by just stopping indoor dining etc.

Good Skiing Up the 93N Tuesday. River crossings are almost done S of hector but great coverage up high.

    Can confirm.
Line at the entry was longer than the line for Summit chair. 3 laps and that was enough Spring-breaker dodging for me.

Yeah, when you look at regular, non-renewal pricing, the full week is up 25% from this year. Not sure how they justify that big a percentage increase in 1 year. Especially when the mid-week only goes up 10%. Even that's borderline of an increase. Guess it shows they really don't care if locals buy passes, because most of us have had substantial pay cuts this year, not 10-25% increases...

And the early bird date for renewals is May 2, not May 12. Don't want to see anyone get burned by 10 days...

I guess they have to pay for all these new chair lifts they're planning some how. But yeah, that's a steep increase, I'm not sure I want to see what the SkiBig3 pass pricing will like for next season.

I was surprised too by the price increase...

I only get 15-20 days at the hill so it’s teetering on whether it’s worth it or not...

    I’m also considering icon pass 999usd 7 ski big 3 days/ 7rmr/7red....

    Or epic

Rough 999cdn...7 days rcr unlimited whistler...

There is also all the us resorts Included in those passes if the border ever opens again to tourism..

Yup, it's only 6 days earlier than official closing and historically zero traffic after first of April anyway.

Boats Not so much but bikes and sleds for sure.
The few cases I know of have been self induced, my kids buddy decided to go bar hopping in Calgary and got it. Couple liftees went to Revy to party with Revy staff, came back threw another party and guess what....
Stupidity is keeping this shit show going.
