Probably have 15cms since noon in the village today. Was easy 20cms up high yesterday.

Good day to stay home, And stay away from the Kaos. Besides My neighbor is stuck in The driveway...and has been shoveling for over an hour...lol

Always nice to live near the ski hill but I’m commuting from the city this year so motivation to compete for turns is low. I will just go ski touring or sled skiing to get my fix.

Damn... wish I could get out today but the drive would likely be horrific anyway.

Hell I have 2 foot plus drifts at my front door in Calgary.

I shoveled this path so skip the dishes has a way to get my breakfast to the door!

Castle is reporting 20cm but the board looks like a lot my right now, especially with wind and drifting.

Anyone see the boner that got tossed out of the LL gondola line - cut straight through on his phone and tried to load skis in with buddies who were already loaded. Tossed and jeered

32cms overnight of absolute blower at the Mighty Quay. Left Banff at 7:30ish, came across one other car on the access road, parked third row and then got one of the best inbound runs of my life after getting third chair on Mystic. By the time we headed back over just before 10am there was an insanely long line for Big Chair but it was well worth the wait as we then got rope drop on the lift line - another lap that will with me for a long time.

Now at work with a big grin, daydreaming about choking on pow.

not to brag or anything, but y'all know Marmot got 2cm of "Rockies Powder" .... didn't matter - the wind did all the powder stashing required and it was GOOOOD up there today for morning laps. back to work this afternoon.

Haha, yeah when that place gets it it’s pretty special.

Only got one turn on camera today but it sums the morning up pretty well. Photo credit Will Lambert:

I LOVE how you roll! Skip the Dishes for breakfast! DAMN!

I am so jealous to be in Cowtown this week. Seeing friends at Pano get the face shots while I navigate delivering presents to relatives, birthday prezzies to daughter.

Heading out Boxing Day, hopefully drive clear then let it frigging snow.

I shovelled the front driveway and built up a mount of snow on the front lawn 6’ high x 8’ wide by 12-14 feet deep. Letting it settle a few days then going back to my yout in Montreal and dig a fort out of it.

Might not be my safest idea, but hopefully the street kids get 10 minutes of fun before I have to crush it....

The big chair is magical on a massive day. Might have been 15 or 16 years ago on a Saturday. Kids were in BAR Quickies program. Thigh to waist deep blower. So magical.

Skip never showed up... couldn't find a driver apparently, which is not surprising. First world problems I guess.

I've been in Calgary since 2000 and this is most I've shoveled from 1 storm since I've been here.

It's way out into the road. I don't relish when the plow finally comes through but people are getting stuck on the street so it has to happen.
