    Definitely shrinks in the winter. Sicsmous is a ghost town in winter. Salmon arm atleast has some businesses and small industries. py tire, drive thru oil change spot, fresh local fruits and veggies are plenty etc. Was just out there for some recycled rubber mats. Great deal for locals at the plant. Places that revy doesnt have and i dont have to drive to vernon or the loops. MTB isnt the greatest but its not bad but its surrounded by a wide mix of amazing. Sleepy in the winter but great sledding or sled accessed touring. Im guessing zero nightlife and not a ton of great eateries

    ^^^ can't picture where a second lift on goats eye would go... any ideas?

    Also, I don't really ski on weekends anymore but the lines at goats eye always seemed pretty reasonable to me.

    The proposed lift is from the parking lot to the current unload of goat’s eye.

    Too lazy to search, is there a master plan type doc for Sunshine (and LL) that outlines potential terrain expansion in the future? New lift is great and all but feels like there's zero chance Parks will allow more terrain (yet they just did for LL?).

    Seriously? That'd be some burly evac if it had to happen.

    Yeah, s'pose you're right. It would sure help with the Gondi lineups. Are they thinking another Gondola?

    Skied Norquay today for first time in 37 years. Skiing Lone Pine as a youngster was a seminal moment for 10 year old skier me. Didn’t seem any where near as scary as I remember it. 2 questions;

    Wasn’t Lone Pine called the Widow Maker back in the day?

    What’s up with the staggered 4 packs of chairs between long empty spaces on the North American chair?

    1) Couldn't tell you.

    2) Pulse lift. Low rider volume, so slow speed while people are loading and unloading. Speed it up between those points.

    Didn’t even know that was a thing. I only rode it once (was with kiddos) but I recall thinking it was moving pretty fast.

    1) not an official name, but sometimes used

    2) chair spacing that way for summer use as well. I THINK that its in the top 10 oldest lifts, in original location, still operating in NA.

    3) this thread is the 20/21
