    Wow, what time was that?

Just shortly after 9, 9:10ish? I rode up with a couple different peeps on chairs who mentioned watching it while waiting at the base for the Gondola, only after the second mention did it click that’s what hit me.

They have always allowed it. However if caught riding the lift with out a ticket they will press charges and prosecute . I've been the jack ass lifty who has busted people and got my 100$ bonus back in the day. When you only make 45$ before tax a day, it was a big incentive.

A total shit show. Busiest day this season so far.

Agree that the wait to exit the highway was bananas. After traffic slowed down, it took me nearly an hour to reach the parking lot, with some drivers pulling a few dodgy merges to try and squeeze in. Once on the hill, I thought people were pretty calm. The vibe in the lift lines felt very relaxed and unhurried, despite the obvious long lift lines. Not the usual powder frenzy. Maybe just accepting of the situation?

Thanks for the heads up! They jumped the gun on the whole Tuesday thing didn't they! Or I guess maybe they meant reservations needed starting Tuesday and just never bothered to tell us when reservations were going live.

I was on $6 an hour there in 2001-2002 although $.50 an hour of that went to the end of season pot that you only got if you made it to the end.

Yeah agreed, really good vibes all around which is impressive given the circumstances. Still a ton of great skiing to be had too.

Season started slow at Kimbo but is rounding into shape.

Tamarack chair is not running yet but you can ski a lot of its runs about 7/8ths down then catch the ski out trail to the frontside quad and do another lap. You can also “go long” and ski 2,000’ vertical runs off Easter chair that end up at the bottom of Tammy, then walk/slide out in about 20 minutes.

So that was the plan on Sunday when huge crowds showed up after the 18 new.

When we wrapped it up just after 3 p.m. there were still a few runs totally untouched.

Back to Pipeline Masters Finals viewing (Gabriel vs. JJ)...check it. Also first time ever they're holding a women's heat.
Real skiers still go to SSV, after the patroller incident of 2011?

Reservation system seems to be hit or miss. No big surprise. I've had it work for one day but not the other. Lady I'm working with looks like she is going to have a stroke trying to book her kids and family haha

I was a janitor at the Deli & Goat's Eye Gardens so worked under Marco Pertici who was the best boss ever and Roberta who was the worst boss ever. Did you live in staff accom? If so I bet we crossed paths. I was third floor Arnica.

I haven't been back there either. Support your local Patrol!

LL today- showed up at noon. Large line-ups till 2-2:30. Good skiing on West bowl and Ptarmigan trees. Filling in nicely till the bell. Shit roads on the way home....

No problem booking ski days on reservation. Easy!
