Starting to shape up to be a complex snowpack this year...Will need to stay on your toes.

Hopefully the influx of less experienced backcountry users doesn’t get Into to much trouble as she’s going to be spicy.

First day on the skins, snow was still soft on North facing aspects.

Lac does Arcs looked awesome when we drove by a week ago. Told my wife, for the first time in 12 year, I am dusting off the skates and taking them to Pano to skate on Lake Lillian or f they do it, the Windermere Lake path this winter.

We Kited Spray Lakes about 10 years ago. That place is etched into my brain. One of the most scenic places I've ever been

Good day at the Lake. 1st resort day this season and I was impressed! Good base! No rockies sugar!! Wind sift and shreddable! Wh1,wh2 and paradise were silk!!

Was at the Lake this weekend, the front side was scary icy! Larch was icy too. The back bowls were powdery awesome, especially the gullies! I didn't make it out to Boundary Bowl - next time!

I have a feeling we’ll wake up happy...

Also stoked to see a storm bring a much needed/wanted reset throughout the ranges including the Rockies

Although this snow is falling upon an interesting surface. Sun crust up top on the south’s, thick hoar in the middle elevations all aspects and little snow down low in Golden. Sounds like a usual Golden snowpack. I believe KHo is opening Thursday according to rumors.

I need to bite the bullet an start the ball rolling on immigrating. There's hardly anywhere left in the lower 48 that both offers good skiing and lets you live somewhere that you get a real, actual winter at your house. Fucking global warming. Enjoy your amazing mountains without me and my fellow deplorables from south of the border this year.

You won’t like it there either and I seriously doubt they want you.

Rain to 7200 doesn’t leave a lot of terrain, might want to look at a map.

I’ll be skinning up the Burn, in glorious sunshine.

Looks like 16 at Marmot and the snow line is below the base by a few hundred meters. Still raining in town. Looks to stay around 14 to 1500 meters which works for the 1600 m base.
