I know training doesn’t mean shit, but hopefully Negomir gets a confidence boost from it and manages to get into the points. Beat isn’t worried about being two seconds back.

i believe all fis events, including xc and ski jumping are on peacocktv.com. slick production too but no commentators so far but you can hear the onsite announcers talking in various languages. it's only $4.99 a month and you get every premier league match either live or rebroadcast a few hours later, all the major road cycling events including awesome coverage of the tour de france and a bunch of other sports as well. it includes all nbc tv programming and lots of movies as well. totally worth the money for me but i'm a huge fan of manchester united so getting to watch all 38 league matches a year is fantastic.

Kyle Negomir 8th in DH training, sustains knee injury in finish-area crash
By SR Staff Report -December 10, 20200
Kyle Negomir, who was reported to be among the fastest Americans in the run-up to the World Cup speed season, demonstrated that speed on Thursday with an eighth-place result in World Cup downhill training in Val d’Isere. He was the leading American ahead of Bryce Bennett, who finished 10th.
Unfortunately, shortly after (or while) crossing the finish line, Negomir crashed and sustained a right hand and right knee injury. He will return to the U.S. for further evaluation, and his return to competition is TBD, according to a statement from the team.

Pretty sure they ran a snow seed so those results are way off.

Odermatt and Rebensburg are the only recent Stockli Alpine podiums I can think of.

Lots of DNFs today, but glad to see Shiffrin back on top.

And I don’t know how Brignone had time to lay down for a nap and still make the podium, but that was a hell of a recovery.
