Got lucky yesterday with weather and skied off Garibaldi. Nice to get well above the trees outside the resort.

    Quality morning.
    Deep.
    Snow crapped out 1500m ish.
    No alpine today
    Crystal maybe if winds abate

    Usual pow line gong show.
Blkcmb gondie first group arrived 445, next 515.

Friend lined up at 6 and joined him-about 12 groups back. Usual Extremely Canadian/Ski Scholl taking early gondies. Many tracks when we unloaded-lol

Heard at 1015 those that lined up at 8 were just loading.

    Tomorrow should be funmy

What's it like if it's a mid-week non powder day? Just show up whenever and ride up? Asking for a friend.

finally got a good peak opening yesterday, 15 minute wait, then lapped front side 3 times in half hour, nicely blown in blower pow combined with the wind made for great billowy face shots, aspect was certainly key

Nice timing! Best run on the south coast imo. Where did you park with Joffre closed? At cerise then climb back up the matier to exit?

That's what I was thinking. Not sure what the alternative is though. I guess dig out a spot at Joffre or walk back to your car?
