Has the Death Star known as Vail ever said what their reservation limit is? Do actually know what capacity numbers look like vs regular numbers?

Any one here work with Ops or Patrol, hearing rumors of when the Alpine might open? Feels like there is enough snow for them to open soon, unless it's a cost decision.

Wind has moved stuff around quite a bit. Groomers are pushing things around. Main issue is egress points as one doesn't want beginners tomahawking into rock gardens
Plan is to adjust capacity dynamically as the traffic flows are more known. One of the upsides of the investment by the old WB monolith is realtime traffic flow numbers. Having said that I don't see how one can adjust that by much of delta. The variables (pow-frenzy, traffic on highways, lift-issues) are too complex. Too many moving parts

Passed that line at Creekside at 8:25 or so. Zero slow downs on the highway (even between Function and Creekside) so I don't think much/most of it is from the city.
Parked in lot 2, paid my $10, and walked on to Fitz with zero line.

i know of that site but doesn't seem to be accurate. if i'm reading it correctly, it says that glacier and crystal and other alpine lifts have been open when they haven't.
was going to head up today to get into the bcomb slack but had to cancel last minute due to offspring issues. choked. looks so money up there. please post pics and stoke if you made it up there (might regret this request)

Peak-Friday
Don’t work for the overlords, keep in touch w many that do.
Wind did some damage in the alpine. Still lotsa pow in protected areas.

Saw a MIN report yesterday of south stuff off Blackcomb pinwheeling/getting mushy yesterday afternoon while north faces were decent, now it’s 5C at Peak, have to figure that warm surface air would overcome the benefit of north aspects and low impact of sun at this time of year, at least for anything in the 2100-2200ish elevation band? Curious to hear reports the next few days.

Are cypress closures hard closures or more like a suggestion?

Ya don’t know if ya don’t go.
Clear high pressure w short days and warm temps(+5-8) is different than a cloudy greenhouse humid day.
Did 4 laps on N aspects on the Peak.
Great pow.
Excitation/Exhilaration(can’t remember which is which-had to scurry in the very bottom of the pinner one) Glacier Couloir and Stephans-snow was good to bottom of W bowl.
Watched someone ski Phil’s chute.
Light at this time of year is beauty

They’re cool with touring up to peak? Destroying shale slope would be rad but assume that's not allowed
