Had a bbq but just watching end of 2nd and highlights. Avs looking defeated even when scoring. I'm prob wrong but face offs looking to be a huge factor. Gonna be a rough 3rd for Colorado unless they find some energy.

I just really hate interacting with Vegas (new hockey) fans for the most part.

I'm a Blackhawks fan(wife is avs). Vegas is a team I love to hate. So many good players but I'm not a fan of the expansion draft.

Can anybody beat fleury glove side? Goalies win cups. Canada what?

Theodore's fake shot play had me jumping off the sofa and yelling (and I was lying down at the time). People will remember him, not who scored the goal. I've forgotten already.

Vegas looks like they can just bully the Habs around. We’ll see if that holds up throughout the series.

Grew up on the island 68-93, saw many games at the barn, was a huge #22 fan.
Now me and my kid playing in truckee and reno leagues has me loving ice hockey more than ever.

Habs are fucked, no team out of the Canadian division had a chance. Playing 6 other shitty teams all season doesn't prepare you for the rest of the league in playoff hockey.

I just hope they can make it a series. Vegas looks hard to beat.

Oh you young ones--never judge a Stanley Cup series by the first game. I hope Montreal gives them a better effort. Not good to go into the finals after sweeping a weak team. Vegas is my adopted team until the Wings get their shit back together. I've got a kid in Vegas and I'm tired of the Bruins--the other kid is in Boston.

I agree, it would be good for the Habs to not be pushovers, but, they did start strong in period one, and were gradually overwhelmed by vegas' relentless attack. That relentless attack and fore check is the same thing that did the avs in. It just looked easier against the Canadians.
Tonight we'll see what happens. 9pm est game time.

Habs out played them for two periods, almost gave it away. They really couldn’t have asked for a better result taking the split back to Montreal. Going to be a massive contrast with limited masked fans.
Sticking to Vegas putting a beat on them, but that win makes for a better series.
