Watching the replay now and requested to join the league. Ski women were very impressive. No spoilers but stoked for the podium. And the men have been going huge. Every run has been worth watching.

I'm not sure why Dillon Flinders got scored so low for a solid debut. Only 9 points above someone who fell on their run felt weird.

I thought that was weird too.

Also, there's always a huge gap between Pollard's score and my level of enjoyment of watching him ski.

Loved Tenra's stoke to kick things off!

Cool line selection by some of the guys a little later on like Blake Marshall and Weitien Ho. I love when they take a completely new line, something Molly Armanino did a lot last year on the women's side.

Only just got up and cherry picked through the mens. Holy smokes, if Weitien Ho's ski hadn't come off, he would have gotten a huge score.

Stoked to see Turdell, and Finn B, and I thought Ben Richards did very well too (yes. got my Kiwi hat on). Hitzig is a beast, but maybe didn't excite me as much as I'd expected.

That‘s the problem with guys like Hitzig or Turdell - they‘re skiing so smooth that everything looks effortless even if they’re sending super gnarly stuff.

Not sure how I ended up in first, but now you must bow down to my mediocrity!

Weird, his line choice to me was very underwhelming and he deserved to be near the bottom IMO. He can ski so much better than that, but he didn't. Thanks to a bunch of crashes he's midpack and not near DFL.

I'd now rather watch Pollard ski creative lines in a movie than in a comp. I would never had said that 5 years ago but the kids these days are monsters.

Before Abel took his final air you could tell some dumb shit was about to happen, I don't get the mindset with him or his mentor. It just doesn't work out ever or often.

On a positive note- that was an amazing event to watch with impressive run after run by the men skiers even with crashes! I can't really digest all the crazy airs I saw over and over.

What a freakin crazy show! Marcus Gaugen was so close to pulling off the most intense run in a ski comp ever. The modern version of Fabian Lentsch winning run at the 4* FWQ comp in Obergurgl 9 years ago.

Goddamn these guys were going for it. Very sick to watch

Flinders probably getting docked coming into the finish acting as if he’d just won. Kidding but it was a bit much

Audible groans and sighs were made as I saw Goodman enter the start gate in that clown suit

That was one of the better all around comps.

Men’s snowboarding was very good. Woman’s ski keeps getting better
The men’s ski is just bonkers

That's one of the things I am always baffeld by( notwithstandng giant cliffs and tricks oof of them). How the fuck do they know where they are? A skill im lacking in freeriding. If I am on top of a line it has to be a clear line of sight or at least obvious where to go. Or I stop all the time.

And the two Monster kids who crashed: amazing lines but that can go wrong quickly. That's the difference to hitzig he skied ridiculous stuff and I thought he was never even a slight bit too loose. Pretty amazing for a 21 year old.

Monster kids problem: Same for moga. He has to get rid of the navarro vibes. But he seems actually able to hold it together.

Lots of study combined with POV drone footage of the face made for the competitors a day or two before the comp. This ain't your average weekend run.
