That line, I think it's now called Frenchie's at Mammoth, was simply far and away crazier than anything anyone else did at that comp. I was actually looking up at that area on Sunday and thinking 'how the fuck did Guerlain see a line there?' He saw a line the others simply did not see. And that comp had some great names skiing very well. When I watched Guerlain I couldn't believe just how different his view of the mountain was. I think McConkey won that contest, but I will always remember what Chicherit did that day.

I can't seem to quickly find a video of Chcherit's line. I'm sure it is somewhere on this site. Watching Navarro made me feel like that.
FRENCHIE'S!!! That run is legendary. And what a finishing move!

How's the snowpack after this most recent storm? Will it still look that way after control work? Looks absolutely stacked.

seemed a bit staged and markety to have them all there in their bibs for the photo face check. And they seemed freezing for the surfing venue

Rooting for anyone except Mr. Pollard would be unconscionable for me. Love his style.

It was strong. I don’t know specifics. We skied similar aspect on Mont Fort and it was super dense. You can now see the old Sahara sand on some of the faces. That is like ice. 2 days ago before the Bise started to blow the face was perfect 😢

It was definitely having it's way with the face when the athletes were checking it out yesterday but it still looked good. The insta stories are gone though so it's at least a day since then so who knows now.

Insta stories made the snow conditions on the Bec look fairly shitty after the wind. Orange sand was once again poking through. They had Rausis take a lap down the Petit Bec and snow there looked decent. Seems like it'll still be a good show.

"You can only catch it on Redbull TV"..

Does that mean it won't be streaming or replayed on the FWT site / youtubes like the others have?

Man what a bummer it looked so fat just a few days ago. Were they waiting for stability or for weekend Red Bull viewers?

With the shorter venue and the small field it would have been cool for them to make it two runs.
