O.K, Kids, What Mods Can Be Done To Improve ‘19 Fox 36?
Sounds like this for is moving to my next trail-ish bike. I have been pretty happy with it, but would like to improve off the top sensitivity. What’s out there with solid and significant benefits? Winter project, so I can wait.
I am not going to convert to coil, this is for my ‘lightest’ bike build.

Grip or Grip2? If Grip, Grip2 damper.
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air

I had a Luftkappe in my '18 which I also upgraded to Grip2. I recently took it out because the guy getting the fork doesn't want it. It does make it a lot nicer off the top, but the added progression was unnecessary for me. It was basically impossible for me to bottom out unless I completely and totally fucked up, at 75 psi for 170 rider weight. One of my buddies has a Runt on a Lyrik and really likes it. That whole concept makes a lot of sense to me (be it in the Runt, a Mezzer, Ohlins, or EXT). Stock GRIP2 has more useable range than before, but I still think the LSC is too firm and the rebound too slow for most riders. So yea, send it to Diaz to get a Runt & custom tune.

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but some stanchion lube would probably get you most of the way towards what you're after.

OK, So, the Luftkappe is a very marked improvement. Did one ride with one token, and just did a ride without any. Gonna be tits for Moab. Money well spent.
Maybe I’ll try a Runt next summer, but this is so much better for now I will be happy until the snow shuts us down.Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident
