Who are some ski makers no one has ever heard of?

I want to buy a pair of planks made by some dudes in a garage or something. So, what are some small-scale ski making operations ya'll know of?

That is a pretty good list and I've combed through it before but it is a little dated I think.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Powder Factory skis are made in SIlver Plume CO.

If a town was a run down garage -- it'd be Silver Plume. Does have a fancy cocktail bar now though.

These guys are pretty small scale. They moved out of their garage (and into someone else's garage) a few years back... but one of the brothers may still live in his parents basement.

I have an Anton and an Oda for my B/C set up.

Most people outside of Tahoe probably haven't heard of Slant Skis. I have friends who are big fans.

By Endre Hals, which might be better known around here than his brand(s).

My buddy skis the Hedonisme and absolutely loves them. Build quality seems to be top notch.

Silver Plume is the kind of town where you can have a drunken old west style duel in the middle of the street using bottle rockets as weaponry.

Not that I would know anything about that.
