Love an opportunity to show off Skevik stuff. Skis are super well-made, and love their artwork.

Is the Loken light enough to comfortably tour on? I think these may be my next pair of skis.

My Lhasa Pows were flat and had a great flex. Still ski wonderfully.

180cm in this particular L106 is 1950gr/ski, which I think is a totally "normal" weight--not light but not a train. I think they've changed the shape slightly since I bought these a few years back, but they're super fun skis overall.

Yes, I tour on them all the time. Not the lightest ski but they rip on the down! Did a week at Fairy meadows with a pair of lokens with shifts and carbon antons (super light) with G3 Ions. I kept going back to the lokens any time we were going up high given the likely hood of hitting variable and hard snow.

They take a lickin and keep on tickin, great for sled skiing as the wooden sidewall is easy to rejuvenate. Have been skiing on them for 10 years now and have not had any quality issues.

I don't know much about these, but they are based out of VT and made in QC (I think the old Line/Karhu factory) - https://renoun.com/

My mate Rupe makes these: https://www.pfdskis.com/

In his early years I used to do his grinds until he got his own machine.

Renoun is kinda the opposite of made in someone's garage. They fancy shit loved by PugSkiers with slick marketing and a big budget aimed the the Aspens and Sun Valleys of the world.

Don't forget our mag homies Lithic Skis (lithicskis.com). Sweet looking skis from guys who used to work for Praxis. Some nice looking skis and great responses when I have talked to them.

Powder skis manufactured in Appleton WI. Walked through the factory if you can call it that about four years ago. When I saw this thread I wondered if they are still around and yes they are. Seemed pretty much like a one man operation. BC Magazine did have one of their skis reviewed in their Gear edition a few years ago.

I consider Ben a friend. He started Coop skis in Wenatchee with another friend. He’s a smart guy and fanatical about quality and design.
