That's been the best I've been able to muster so far. Eye opening at the very least.

    Bump.

200 something days in and I'll keep it up for a while. I'd quit a few times over the past couple of years for a month and wanted to keep it up. Lockdown would have led to beers during the day and quitting made that easier.

I caught COVID 6 months ago and stopped drinking for a couple of weeks while recuperating. I kept off the sauce for my knee replacement and recovery after that. Tonight, October 2 and after six months of no drinking,I had a few glasses of a Malbec with dinner. I’m back!

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

nice work! i'll be mildly celebrating 6months alcohol free on OCT 20 and haven't felt this good in many years. Now that i'm in this place, I scratch my head and wonder why i used to drink alcohol nearly every.single.day.for.34.years! so crazy.

Go on now, run along, it's past your bedtime. Oh, you mean you've been sober for 21 years. Well then, congratulations. That's awesome.

Thanks.. All it took was realizing I was probably going to die if I didn't stop drinking like that. A lot of my friends didn't make it. For me there is no point in drinking less than 6 of anything with alcohol. I'd rather have none than two.. So none it is..

I'm doing sober October this year with a coworker. Surprised how easy it has been thus far and I'm feeling great, might keep it rolling until Thanksgiving with a cheat day here and there. I guess I'm officially old and washed up!

    Also, non-alcoholic beer is disgusting.

Try Athletic Brewing. I'm not saying they're amazing but it's better than the other NA offerings. In for Sober October for the second year and about a year and a half with no drinking here.

Haven’t drank in 2021. Heard the term ‘California Sober’ the other day, which I guess is what I am.

I’ve found some N/A beers that aren’t too bad and kinda scratch the itch. But mostly I’m bubble water, La croix, spindrift etc.

Bravus Brewing - particularly their Oatmeal stout
Untitled Art - a west coast and juicy ipa
Bootstrap Brewing - Gold and ipa

Keep up the good work everyone. I feel great. Not sure I’ll ever really drink again.

I had some in Germany that I liked. My BIL is a dry drunk. Paulaner makes one that I think has been mentioned here on TRG, so it looks like it can be found if you can find the right store. It's worth a try.
