I have a similar wall rack that holds 5 pair in 3 feet but I'm trending toward mostly pin bindings so have to figure out something else to store them.

8' also holds 14 pairs. It can easily be modified for pin bindings with a Foredom.

Yup. Any one who does work on their own boots needs a Foredom

Even with a Gucci tool, I'm not sure I'd want to hang my skis from the tech fitting pins. Amiwrong?

Why? It's a tiny, tiny fraction of the load they'll see when you're actually skiing them.

This can be converted to one side being shelves too if you don't need to hold so many skis. Put together with screws so easily modifiable. Make realistic and offer.

I'm no scientist (if I was, I'd probably be a dentist now). I was thinking the constant force (mass of the skis X gravity) in one direction would cause issues over time.

    But I'm likely wrong.
