Now this is my kind of protest!

So this brotha was unhappy with certain aspects of the on-going United States Census, so he gets on his pony and gallops down a Chicago area freeway. Looks like he has his biker buddies protecting his flanks. Wish that I could have joined 'em.

No animals were injured during this mostly peaceful protest.

    That was Salvador Dali freaky.

At least he wasn’t in the express lane.

I would rather get behind these girls than a horse

I'd like KQ's analysis of his riding ability, the same was we like to critique anyone who dares post video of themselves skiing. Is he riding in the back seat. (I guess there's only one seat on a horse?)

^Back in your's and Wooley's day, I assume everyone rode horses and this would not have been an unusual sight?

I'm sure these two girls would be thrilled that their message has been photoshopped by an anti-masker.

I feel qualified to say that he doesn’t need to be bouncing so much.

I never rode the horse, always took the buggy. (My gf did deliver bread in a horse drawn wagon in Detroit.)

Not so sure about the no animals injured although not sure how accurate the news report is.

I was hiking a rocky trail near my house and some riders had some kind of booties on the horses' hooves. Never seen that before. Same hike I saw way out in a tough to get to cirque a godess riding english, full english get up with riding breeches and knee high boots, dark hair pulled tightly back in a bun, riding crop. I fell to my knees and bowed before her, but she rode on without acknowledging my pitiful existence. Her horse didn't have booties. Silver slippers, I think, but I'm not sure about that part.

There's all sorts of boots and wraps for horses. Bell boots to protect their hooves from stones, corking boots for the front pastern and sesamoid area, skid boots for rear fetlocks, compression leg wraps and braces of various tech materials to protect and enhance...Anyone here who has ever owned a horse could give you 1000 words about leg wraps right off the tops of their heads.

Point is, there's $$ and good works in that sorta stuffs, doc. Princess Jodhpurs and Daddy want the Good Shit for her Registered Thoroughbred/Arab/AQH/...It's a lifestyle, and some people and horses are really really competitive...
