    Man, this is an awesome album, or CD, or whatever you call it.

    That whole Rick Rubin story is a trip. What a country.

    I have always regretted that I didn't go see him either in 1994 or 1996 when he played at The Fillmore in San Francisco; doubly so because I had a friend who worked at American, so I might've been able to score tix and a meet/greet.
    Regardless, the albums he did for American Recordings are solid.

    In a similar vein, I also highly recommend the two albums Merle Haggard did for Anti-.
