I fear some ideas would be a bit too progressive for even for Progressive.

I'm working on a pitch to Progressive where Limu emu and Doug get set upon by some drunk dog pound fans in section 118 and file a lawsuit against Baker and Emily. But in the end, thanks to a generous blanket liability policy from Progressive all ends well.

According to wiki he's still in something called "Fan-Controlled-Football" which sounds like its basically pro wrestling. Or the football equivalent of that final stripper scene in Requiem for a Dream.

    I like your vison though.

Just please keep Flo out of it. There's some weirdos around here who have a thing for that potential homewrecker.

    Game Day!

A cool 94° in KC today should help things.

Not a single season opener win in the last 16 attempts.

Today’s opponent doesn’t make it any easier to break that streak either.

And I read that the teams that lose their first game of the season are much less likely to make it to the play-offs in the last few years, no matter what the rest of their schedule looks to be as far as opponents.

It's amazing how a lifetime of getting the shit kicked out of your soul as a fan changes preseason hope to opening day dread overnight. I hope Stefanski doesn't get suspended for the year today.

Just a reminder of how this thread started last year:

DRINK THE DEPRESSION AWAY CLEVELAND BROWNS SUPPORT GROUP

    POST 1:

I feel like if you start your season with an interception on the first drive and then follow that up with a fumble on a fake punt, all against the city that stole your team, it's time to start slamming cans of Great Lakes.

That accelerated even more quickly than I expected.

    POST 2:
And then they missed extra point. It's like a greatest hits album.

    What a memory.

I’m prepared this year with supplies from my recent trip to the North Coast.

Just got to make it through a day at the pool and the neighborhood ice cream social before kickoff.

KC will be a good warmup but honestly they need to concentrate on division schedule and getting through the season without half the team out with injuries.

Still early but browns looking good. And even with a nice coach punching ejection!

    Fucking kicker.

    https://vlipsy.com/vlip/hard-knocks-...icker-Phv8lnGI

Oh well, Chiefs didn’t cover, Brownies showed guts against the Super Bowl favorites at home and there’s a lot to like going forward. Stealing this one would have been just that, a steal.

Focus on the division. Drink up.

Go Birds! If playoffs were held next Sunday, the Eagles would be a #1 seed!

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
