Well, yahoo is saying that they’ve negotiated a reduced payment with him in the event that he clears waivers and will cut him. So I guess you’re right.

Is this why we can’t have nice things?

This season is starting to feel like home.

It's not same old Browns, but it's damned close. The fact that we're getting rid of a problem child is a sign of growth.

    I think.

Now ESPN is saying he was asking for release before, including earlier this year.

Obviously more to the story than we can see.

    Yeah, just read that too.

Also NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala's article from her time around the building this week says that the team is less than thrilled with OBJ's bullshit.

    Tomorrows game will be fascinating.

    And potentially drink inducing.

The OBJ/Baker memes coming out after yesterday's beatdown have been coming in fast.

    No, no he does not.

Over the last 4 games Baker has a passer rating of 113. Yesterday it was 132. 6 tds and 1 int over the last 4. With a broken arm.

    Just sayin.

Oh yeah - his rating without Odell in the lineup is now 112. So there's also that.

And either of those numbers, over the full season, would be #1 in the league.

1 step further. If you take his 8 games and throw out the two right after he messed up his shoulder (Bears and Vikings) he's got a passer rating of around 107.5. That would be 5th behind Stafford, Murray, Brady and Prescott.

Shit, let's keep going. For QBs who have played at least 6 games, Baker is 9th right now in passer rating. I did not know that.

So you are saying if you cherry pick his stats vs QBs with full stats he looks pretty good on paper? I think you may have a future in Browns Senior Management!

We may be down to one running back in the entire room if the tests are confirmed.

Hope they're ok, but both are fully-vaxxed so hopefully they don't have the severe reaction that Myles did last year.

Damn, the extensions just keep on coming. Yesterday, RG Wyatt Teller gets a huge deal, now today, his buddy Joel Bitonio at LG gets a 3 year extension. Love it Brownies.

Mac Jones is a better quarterback today, after 10 games, than Baker Mayfield is in his 4th season.

For today, I turn the bottle over to you Brownies fans...and the two are winnable!* Fly Eagles Fly!!!

    *I'll be back soon; they're still a 6-10/5-11 team.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Cleveland, you had one job to do this weekend...

Apparently the force was not with you.
