"On August 29, 2019, the Browns sent a fifth and sixth round pick to the Bills in exchange for Teller. With the regular season ramping up, Teller had to quickly pack up his things and head a few hours west, shifting from Bills Mafia to the Dawg Pound overnight. That’s when Wyatt and Carly’s love truly began to blossom."

I just hope that being a part of this team doesn't crush that innocent love they have.

In other news, can we start negotiating with Jimmy G once he hits waivers?

    1) Yeah, me too.

    2) Seems excessive. How many QB's do you need there?

As many as possible. We tend to run through them like the Muni Lot fans run through Labatt Light.

For Cleveland QBs, it's just like skis (and guitars). N+1. Always.

    Apparently.

So what happens when DW and his cadre of lawyers file suit the day after? If there's an injunction, does he get to play for a year or two while they fight it out?

I don't think a lawsuit will get very far.

This is my understanding as well. Suing on the collective bargaining agreement that the NFLPA signed is a nonstarter from everything I've heard.

More likely that any lawsuit will just be thrown out. I mean, there's a CBA and the NFL is following those terms precisely. There's zero case here.

Well, newly signed probowl return man Grant seems to be down with what apparently is a torn achilles.

That blows for him and for the team.

The hot take machine is in full effect. This morning the Stephen A types of the world agreed that no Watson means a 4-6 win season for these Browns.

That’s before a single game is played, and completely and utterly ignoring the massive amount of talent on the roster from the best RB room in the league, the O line, Myles Garrett and Clowney, and arguably one of the top 3 secondaries in the league.

Low hanging fruit should be the name of the next ESPN morning show.

Right now I’ve got all my hope allocated to the Guardians playoff run and I’ve reserved my resentment and denial for the Browns.

Personally, I put all my hope in an old shoebox and buried it in the backyard.

When Deshaun misses the whole season, and you win <5 games, at least you'll have a good draft pick.
    Oh, wait...

i think the NFL has to figure out a way to make this hurt for Deshaun and the Browns financially...I know they structured his contract so he wouldn't be penalized for a 6 game suspension financially...and most of the incentives kicking in the 2nd year. To me that means the NFL needs to suspend him for two full seasons or levy some sort of fine that his contract can't avoid. and also, fuck that guy...I don't know how you can be a fan of the Browns and, for example, tell your kids to root for Watson. He's a POS.
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that

They do that and you can expect the Browns exercise their right to terminate his contract and avoid the trade, which they apparently have the ability to do under the terms of each.

To your second question, you cheer for the name on the front of the uniform, and sometimes the name on the back. There's no shortage of Steelers fans that enjoyed Big Ben's success after his sexual misconduct, and Ravens fans that celebrated the murderer Ray Lewis when he helped their team win, or any other fan of a team that did well with terrible people wearing their uniform on the field.
