I suppose. Unless you locked up the Browns at -5.5.

I'm sure the fans that have been down at the Muni Lot all day are a lot more confident than me right now, since last week proved to me, again, that the Browns are capable of letting you down in so many new and innovative ways.
That and I haven't been daydrinking like they have.I still call it The Jake.

Nicholas Chubb and Brissett to Amari Cooper is the game plan.
Like it.
Does Jacoby remind anyone a bit of a much bigger Lavar Burton?I still call it The Jake.

TNF ran "I want to be your dog" by Iggy for a bumper between segments and everyone should see Sonic Youth's cover from 1989.

This was not lost on more than a few friends in my feed.
I have to say, these last two weeks Brissett just looks like such a more confident and superior passing QB than Baker. And I’m on record as being a Baker fan.
It’s kinda weird to see a Browns QB stand in, step up, and deliver a strike on target beyond 5 yards.I still call it The Jake.

Lol, he better show up this year after that big contract.
That’s the problem with having the best RB tandem in the league - it upsets fantasy owners.
Honestly though, between those two, Amari, N’joku… the Browns have some serious weapons.
I’ll say it again, I’m really impressed with how good Jacoby is looking. It’s just weird for a Browns fan.I still call it The Jake.

HERE WE GO BROWNIES, HERE WE GO!
The offense looks pretty damned good with Brissett.
What’s frustrating is this team should be 3-0 right now. They’re not but 2-1 is still not where most “analysts” had them. There’s talent up and down this roster, but the reputation of Brownsing is all that matters
In a national narrative. The same jabronis will tell us Dallas is starting 15-0 or the Steelers are still the better team (after a Browns playoff win over them), despite reality to the contrary.
That’s fine, Cleveland Against the World still works as a motto for those guys. It’s just old as a fan.Last edited by BmillsSkier; 09-22-2022 at 10:02 PM.

That was an entertaining game, and the squealers lost. Pretty good result for the Thursday night garbage games.

Brissett isn't a top 5 QB, but he does manage the game well and does not turn the ball over for the most part.

Game manager Jacoby Brissett is better than fly by the seat of your pants Baker so far this year.

I fear this win may unleash Kenny Pickett upon the AFC North.

If you head on over to ESPN, the first articles you see about this game don't actually mention that the Steelers lost or that the Browns won, they talk about that circus catch by the Steelers' wideout and Stephen A. yelling (I assume, I refuse to click on any of his content) about Kenny Pickett.
Couldn't hurt, it's more appealing than entering the Mason Rudolph era.I still call it The Jake.
