Upside: Browns fans get 11 games to root for not-Watson. Imagine if they win 8 of those. Or 9! The devastation if Watson comes back all rusty and loses 5 might be peak Browns. Hell, now I wanna be a Browns fan.

“He’s only 26 how could he know a coerced handjob is wrong” is quite the browns thing to do.
Ahhh… I forgot there was more than one incident, which is of course way more suspect.

Maybe Browns fans are more accepting than we think.

Rooting for him, both case he did us right and because the Browns get a better pick if he does well.

What I still can't figure out is: If the Browns knew that Watson would be out at least six games at best and at worst a season+, then how on God's green earth is Jacoby Brissett for those 6-12+ games an upgrade in any way shape or form when the window to win is open now for this team with this talent. Chubb, Hunt, Garrett, Ward, JJIII, this awesome O-line, Clowney, Newsome, Delpit, and A. Cooper are all here, and likely at their very best right now.

So, you look at all that and say, yeah, I'm gonna run some slap-ass quarterback out there in the hopes he can go .500 until Deshaun can come back and play, assuming that even happens? What?

No, you look at that (and the capital you gave away) and say, nah, let's run it back with Baker.

But, since the cat's already out of the bag, again, how can you look at that roster, this window of opportunity, and say, "sure, we can get by with the 40th best QB in the league and win" when Jimmy G, or some other checkdown Charlie is out there that may even crack the top 35???

Well, they at least will be paying him over half a mil to play in their Week 1 game, so that's like, partial credit, right?

A Browns quarterback will win week 1.

    Book it.

Also, 3 of the top 4 QBs from the 2018 Draft will be on the field that day. We should all be so lucky as to witness this great moment.

Put all that Jimmys Gs talk to the side fellas, the Brownies just signed Kellen Mond as their 3rd QB.

Who?!? you may ask, I’ll tell you who.

He’s got 3 whole passes in the NFL, that’s who.

If history tells us anything, he'll be the starter by Game 8 and ruined by Game 12...you have to decide if either (or both) are good or bad.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

If he were playing baseball they'd put him in the HoF right now with that average.
