Drink the Depression Away Cleveland Browns Support Group

I feel like if you start your season with an interception on the first drive and then follow that up with a fumble on a fake punt, all against the city that stole your team, it's time to start slamming cans of Great Lakes.

That accelerated even more quickly than I expected.

And then the missed extra point. It's like a greatest hits album.

I'm sorry but the Cleveland Browns do not deserve their own thread and never will. Just who the hell do you think you are, the Patriots?

I the Browns will go pretty far this year. Might be able to win 8 games.

May I remind Browns fans that the last time the Lions won the NFL Championship in 1957 (they've never won the Super Bowl) it was the Browns they beat. My dad and uncle were at that game. (We can ignore for the moment the fact that the Browns later won in 64.)

I don’t know what the answer to the Brown’s woes are...

    But it isn’t Baker Mayfield.

I'm just here to post in this important thread. Which I fully expect to eclipse that thread about football sadness within the week.

Go Hawks. But good luck, Cleveland.

I thought with Mayfield & Beckham, the Browns fans were penciling them into the Super Bowl?

For once, 2020 feels like everything is normal again.

No where to go but up from here.

Maybe I fixed it for you?

Edit: I have to be honest. I wasn’t optimistic, but I truly didn’t expect it to be THIS BAD. God, I’m an idiot.

As long as you are drinking heavily then you are one of us.

Though now that I think about it if this turned into the general “Things That Depress You So Much You Are Drinking Heavily” thread and it had the Browns in the title that might be the most on point subject of all time.

    Their name is their curse.

Seriously. Of all the colors in the palette. Why choose brown?

Yes, I know it’s the founder. But seriously, brown?
    We’re number two!

You are certainly welcome, especially after Cam’s showing for NE, but realize that we are professionals at this. Don’t try to keep you. You could get seriously hurt.

And your pain doesn’t even register on the modified Cleveland scale. Get back to me if Cam wins the super bowl. You will then be at a 2 on the Cleveland pain/sadness 10 point scale.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

That series was magical. They got a personal foul call on top of a nice first down to put them well within the Ravens territory, then found a way to lose yards and rack up multiple penalties to result in the always difficult 3rd and 41 to go.
