So did the NFL absolutely bury this game on the TV schedule? You’d think with all the media circus around this quarterback for the last two years and him making his debut fresh off a record-setting suspension in the stadium of the team that traded him away might merit a few more TV eyes than it will get.

Then again the NFL isn’t exactly known for its ability to woo female fans so they probably don’t want this getting any attention whatsoever.

    It’s a third-rail QB playing in a game between two non-contenders. Not surprised it’s a regional-only broadcast

Yeah, pretty much sums it up right there.

And since it's the NFL, I'm equally unsurprised that they scheduled his suspension to produce the comeback in Houston and just waited to see if public opinion would swing back.

Well excellent start to the Deshawn Watson era. 2 drives, zero first downs, 1 punt, 1 fumble. Bitchin.

Houston is incredibly bad. And I was just about to say despite that, the Browns are somehow going into halftime with a lead. And then the Watson fumbled into a Houston TD. And then they called it back.

    My head hurts.

He was taking notes from Russell Wilson while he was suspended. He just needs a good catchphrase, like "let's dawg pound" or something

I've noticed that BMills and EWG really only post in this thread when things are looking bad for the Brownies. It's almost like they don't know how to be happy and celebrate their meager successes.

I’m guessing Bmills shot his tv after the safety and missed the rest of the game

No gunplay but I did enjoy a nice long nap.

I woke up to see the defense played as everyone expected them to all year. The offense? Woof.

    We've had a success?

You're not wrong though. Decades of conditioning do that to ya. You know Pavlov's dog and the bell? I hear the NFL dah-dah-dah sound and immediately break into a cold sweat.

There's just so much to unpack in that story/screengrab.

Much like our 20+ years of wandering in the frozen tundra without a QB, that fan was playing the long game for sure.

Could that happen here? Could Danno be an infiltrator?

Danno does have certain skills. Skills that make it easy to make lives of Browns fans in this thread difficult.

Not sure I'm buying it though, he's a Mets fan so he has to have a soft spot for the Browns fanbase.

I woke up today expecting the Browns to have cut Watson for his poor performance on Sunday and sign Baker. I guess it's still early.

I don't think anyone has moved into his suite at the Stadium since he cleared out, so the possibility remains open.

It could be worse as you coulda spent $240MM on Russell Wilson and be stuck in dead cap hell.

Hey, don’t count out Watson playing like Russ. He looked well on his way Sunday.
