Osprey Soelden Pro SuperCap Alpride E1 starting to show up...

    Hey all-
I've been waiting for this pack to show up since it was announced in January. Osprey products fit my frame incredible well. Does anyone know much about this pack, or have any experience demoing it? I'm all ears. $1200 is a lot of cash, I'm also interested in any possible discounts.

You should PM Rontell for a discount he’s got the hook up!

FWIW - my pro account has these as list price and not my usual 40% off.

I'll bite. Nice day pack for basic tour day. Couldn't fit full kit in it for mountaineering, but puffy, lunch, repair kit, it's perfect. I wish they didn't omit the shoulder strap hose zipper though.

Bump.... and F rontele. I have heard enough about him.

I fondled this the other day and I really like the way it fits and holds gear. Great features compared to the rest of the bags I have been looking at. Looking for day trips out of huts and sled touring so don't need a ton of room.

Pricey in CDN $1700 . I have ZERO experience with anything Osprey. Good stuff?

EDIT: whytf is this in gear swap?

    This is the interesting part:

"The upper A-frame attachment point is offset to minimize airbag deployment...."

So I guess you can carry A-frame whilst deploying airbag?
90% of skiing is just looking cool
