Montana mags PSA Open mail from your health insurance company
Just got a fat letter from my BCBS. Almost tossed it cause it looked like all the rest of the bullshit they send out.
When I opened it, to my delight there was a rebate check of + 1200 bucks. It is a BCBS medical loss rebate.
The Medical Loss Ratio provision requires insurance companies that cover individuals and small businesses to spend at least 80% of their premium income on health care claims and quality improvement, leaving the remaining 20% for administration, marketing, and profit. ... Insurers will begin issuing rebates later this fall.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
