Why did Smith discontinue the Wildcat?

And does anyone know of a shop or anywhere to buy replacement lenses?

Looks like you can buy the Amber low light direct from Smith but that's the only flavor available

They consider it a winter product I think, so maybe it was just out of season for a bit? Looks to be back in stock. I want them to make the photocromic lens for these. The black lenses are just a bit too dark for some of the foresty rides I wear them on.

Weird. I have had the black frames with chromapop red since last summer. Really want a new lense that isn't black or for super low light.

Kept seeing discontinued on some sites and direct from smith never has any other lenses besides the low light or clear.

100% the best riding shades that have become my everyday glasses now.

Julbo makes the rush and fury models that are a similar style with a photochromic lens. I have been very happy with the Julbo photochromic lenses for biking and skiing in varying light conditions.

+1 for julbo; own their aero which is totally euroboi style but their lens is superior for changing/varying light as it adjusts for you!

Those look sweet. Timely thread as my pit vipers are doing some weird delamming shit and they won't warranty them because they can't find my order info in their system.

I forgot all about Julbo and photochromic would be sweet for a lot of the riding I do.

the julbo photochromic shit is awesome. I have the Arise with the starts-off-clear lens and they're as clear as reading glasses and darken in the sun well enough for full summer utah sun (as long as you aren't staring at it anyway)

spendy and worth it, they have many different styles along a spectrum from "extremely unfashionable" to "not so unfashionable that people will necessarily notice" so I'm sure you can find something that blends in with whatever your scene is

Just found my long lost photochromatic julbo glasses. New model is Camino. Not bad for $60 Spectron 4+

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Those look sweet for riding... but you wear them daily????
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
