Can't wait for my pair-- Fuckyeah!(I went stock-just as nature intended)
Curious tho- what's happening with the protos that are being built?

Checking rocker, stiffness, tip/tail heights, profile in comparison to the original Kusala. That's what the pics are about.

First proto pair had too much rocker, second pair was on the money.

Will you sell those "too high" protos?

Why don't you go practice fallin' down? I'll be there in a minute.

Maybe. They were a touch soft and it might have been the tails that were too high.
I'll talk to Keith about that and get some better pics when I head up to check things out at Praxis next week.

    Cool, thanks!

Are those the good ones, or the too soft, too high rocker ones?

I don't know. Keith sent me some pics of both pair.
But what we're looking for is that tip height and the run and rise on the rocker, which he has matched out very well.

Damn reported weights of ~2280g for enduro/veneer makes this a difficult call. I’ll see when my pair shows up, but I’m still leaning towards shifts.

Keith got back with final weights, 10lb 11 oz enduro Carbon nylon
10lb 7 oz for enduro Carbon veneer
9lb 6 oz for ul Carbon veneer

Makes it harder the first two would be pretty heavy for a touring ski

I talked to Keith again and he said those weights might be a few oz heavy, was prior to final prep and tuning. Also various core batches can cause a few oz differences

I’m trying to switch to UL core, I have so many resort powder skis.

My enduro pair was already pressed though - If anyone is interested in buying my pair (directly from Praxis) let me know or email Keith. They’re Enduro/Carbon/Maple Veneer

Sounds like pressing is done, skis are being tuned and finished this week, should ship next. Looks like I’ll get my UL core pair too

Everyone should start getting their notices that their skis have shipped. Weights are 9 lb ul veneer, 10 lb enduro veneer, 10 lb 6 oz on the nylon. Or thereabouts. I can't post pics for some fukking reason but they all look great. I slid out with my veneers and a blem pair (not that bad at all), and a blem pair of 191 Lhasas from the last pressing.

Any other blems or are protos possibly available?

Sorry, Tuco. I think the first pair were destroyed.
In the course of settling up on many different levels, the good blems came to me to make Keith and I even steven.
There might be one last pair of veneers for sale once Keith does the final count. He'll let me know. He thought he made one pair too many.

Tuco, my original pair of enduro/carbon/veneers might still be available (I switched to UL core last minute). I’d assume full price for those though. Email Keith if you’re interested
