I mean, even if it needs mechanical help, the body and what little we can see of the interior look really clean.

Some decent bones there, but its hard to tell from the pics. I wonder if that's an LE that somehow got converted to an XE/SE; no rear tire rack, but appears to be cloth interior. Lots of questions.

    Thanks as always Chup!

Can we just take a moment to try and break down the first post.

"In nice. Shape all ways. In doors. Winter garaged. Optional rare V6. Air cond. Automatic trans super. 1978. Bob STRIGHT body. It’s. (35) years. Old. But still turns heads. A super classic. 4/4. Rig. No. Offers. Thanks it’s. $2800. Lots. Of. Rebuilding. 4/4. Out ther vault. I. Feel. The. Original shape of this rig is very very good and a fair affordable price. Soon to. Be a. Super. Rare. Burn. Find. Nissan. Pathfinder. No offers. $3800. In Reno."

How does the price go up $1,000 from the 20th sentence to the 39th sentence, and then he says No offers?!?!

Oooh, that last one is interesting. I'm gonna call on that. Thanks.

I think white paint tends to hold up well, and be easily touched up, so I like that one. I took a closer look on a desktop computer, and the pic of the underside looks mostly pretty good - except for this one section that I circled, which looks like a crack.

Good lookin out Chup, thanks. Yeah, the non-linear shape to that line sure looks like a crack to me too. Sucks, I'm with you the white tends to look good with age too. Same for 80 series LCs.

Are dealers getting these crazy prices that I see posted everywhere or are most of these cars going out for 30 or 40% less than what’s asked? Seems nutso.

That one looks nice and clean. I'm emailing for undercarriage pics. (and an offer that would probably be insulting given that ridiculous list price)

You telling me this one is listed for $10K when this minty SE (the goal here) went for $6K on carsandbids? Still pissed I missed that listing.

God damn that's a good looking rig.

My dad had two of the 3 door models with the triangle windows. Both in a stick. He drove all over northern Ontario and western Quebec in them. Loved them.

He replaced the second one with a 4 door Explorer for more space. In retrospect it was such a piece of shit compared to the Pathy.

I don't care how clean or low miles it, $11k for a 1995 Pathfinder is criminal.

I had a 95 I bought with 8000 miles on it in 96. Kept it until 2016 as my primary the whole time. Sold it for $3000. Had rust in the floorboards but that was it. Loved everything about it, but that video from C&B had me cracking up. That "Beep", "Beep Beep" lock and unlock. When I lived in denver my driveway was right outside my bedroom and when the key fob battery started going it started sending random signals. Got woke up in the middle of the night to that "Beep" "Beep Beep" just repeating itself over and over. Only time i didn't like that truck...

    I found the grail.

    Then I lost it.

Once it got up past $10k I’m looking at FJ80s or a LX470 or having to find a new place to live given my choices.

In staring at the pictures I’m thinking there’s shenanigans afoot with this too-good-to-be-true 95 relic. I personally put 112,000 miles on the Assfinder from new before handing it off to my younger sister and none of the interior switches and other bits looked as worn as this one’s.

The gas door pic shows what the original paint looked like before the repaint and if the inside of the gas door looked like that I’m thinking this thing spent time under water. And I’m not completely convinced it was an SE to begin with.

Lastly, a couple good looking 80 series LCs went on CnB and BaT during this time that looked similar or better and for not much more money. As Jack said in Sideways, “something’s fishy here”.

Well, technically the listing states in numerous places, that it "shows" 30k miles, not that it "has" 30k miles. So, you know, no shenanigans here.

You certainly cannot buy anything new of this quality, style and performance for less than $25k. And with this car you are also investing in an appreciating asset
    Whew
